Refurbishment of Norbury Library

Project Purpose

  • Client Project manage the refurbishment of Norbury Library, which included new roof, installation of a new lift, external repairs and complete internal refurbishment.

Scope and Outputs

  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project through the full project lifecycle, as a client project manager, including development and production of a full suite of project documents and regular progress reporting

  • Deliver the client-side duties as per the CDM Regulations 2015

  • Logistics project management in terms of the overall programme of work and including the management of the building clearance, arranging of storage, storage returns and sourcing available council storage cabinets for reuse at the library

  • Supporting the development of the works specification and procurement of professional service providers

  • Support the procurement of Furniture Purchase

  • Overall budget management including extensive VE exercise and final cost reconciliation

  • Preparation, support and attendance at resident engagement events

  • Supporting the development and submission of planning applications
